Seef District, BahrainHer Excellency Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that the National Project Lamea has achieved continuous success across its various editions, making it one of Bahrain’s leading national initiatives that contributes to nurturing a creative Bahraini generation equipped to lead in different domains and support the Kingdom’s development goals.

She underscored that Lamea reflects the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, who set forth an ambitious national path aimed at empowering youth academically, intellectually, and professionally to become active contributors in Bahrain’s comprehensive development.

The statement was made during Her Excellency’s attendance at the signing ceremony of the strategic partnership agreement between Lamea Association and Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH). The agreement was signed on behalf of the Association by Her Excellency Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairwoman of Lamea Association, and on behalf of KFH by Dr. Shadi Zahran, Group Chief Executive Officer.

Her Excellency the Minister further noted that the partnership between Lamea and KFH embodies the spirit of cooperation between the public and private sectors and underscores the commitment of both sides to investing in Bahraini youth potential. She also commended KFH’s pioneering role in supporting national and community programs with sustainable impact, which contribute to the advancement of Bahrain’s youth movement.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa stated that Lamea Association takes pride in its achievements in developing outstanding Bahraini youth and affirmed its commitment to forging partnerships that support their academic and professional growth. She noted that the collaboration with KFH represents an important step toward enhancing training programs and promoting innovation among Bahraini youth.

For his part, Dr. Shadi Zahran expressed pride in the partnership with the National Project Lamea, emphasizing that investing in youth potential is an investment in Bahrain’s future and affirming that this partnership reflects KFH’s commitment to supporting national initiatives that empower Bahraini youth.
