Seef District, Bahrain – The top twelve finalists of the National Project Lamea embarked on a transformative international bootcamp in the Himalayas, marking a milestone in the fourth edition of the program. The week-long expedition was designed as a high-intensity leadership and resilience challenge, testing participants’ adaptability, teamwork, and perseverance in extreme conditions.

Over the course of four days, finalists trekked across steep inclines and rocky terrain, facing sub-zero temperatures, limited provisions, and long hours of physical exertion. The experience aimed to draw out authentic leadership qualities under pressure, strengthen group cohesion, and provide participants with a deeper understanding of their own capabilities in real-world, high-stakes environments.

The Himalayan bootcamp forms a core part of Lamea’s training journey, complementing advanced modules in communication, strategic innovation, and project management delivered in Bahrain. By combining rigorous theoretical training with applied experiences, the program ensures that participants graduate as well-rounded leaders equipped to drive national progress.

Commenting on the achievement, Mrs. Dabya Al-Rafaei, General Manager of Lamea Association, stated: “The international bootcamp is a defining moment for our finalists. It pushes them beyond comfort zones and instills the resilience, clarity, and adaptability that are indispensable for leadership. In Lamea we see this experience as fundamental to building the character and perspective required to lead Bahrain into a sustainable and innovative future.”

The Himalayan expedition reaffirmed Lamea’s commitment to providing Bahraini youth with world-class training opportunities that combine local relevance with global exposure. Through such initiatives, Lamea continues to strengthen its role as Bahrain’s flagship national platform for discovering and developing exceptional youth talent.
