Seef District, Bahrain – The National Project Lamea has concluded its registration for the fifth edition with an unprecedented 1,072 applicants, marking close to 100% increase compared to last year’s 542. This surge in interest reflects the growing conviction among Bahraini youth in Lamea’s ability to transform both their personal and professional lives, equipping them with the skills, opportunities, and networks to thrive in an evolving world.

The remarkable turnout underscores the project’s unique position as a national platform that identifies and nurtures the Kingdom’s most ambitious talents. Through its rigorous selection process and world-class training curriculum, Lamea continues to demonstrate its value as a catalyst for youth empowerment and leadership development.

Commenting on the milestone, Mrs. Dabya Al-Rafaei, General Manager of Lamea Association, stated: “The overwhelming response to Lamea 5 is a testament to the project’s growing impact and reputation. It reflects not only the trust of Bahraini youth in what Lamea offers but also the internal capability, strong team, and dedicated efforts that drive our success. She added that the Association remains committed to ensuring that this year’s cohort benefits from a refined curriculum and expanded opportunities, aligning with Bahrain’s national vision for empowering young people to be active contributors to development, innovation, and progress.

With the close of registration, the National Project Lamea will move into its multi-stage selection process, where candidates will be assessed on their potential, drive, and leadership qualities before advancing into the program’s intensive training journey.
